The
carnival parade's advance gives special notice of the culmination of the manifestation.
The parade is organized on Sunday 12.09.2002, at 11:00. The procession will
proceed to the main stage in the center of the city. Following will be string
orchestra and folk events by participants from the city and "Brotherhood
Cities". The largest number of participants come from the local high schools
and elementary schools and sports clubs. The parade and the carnival end at
the main stage, where will take place the symbolic first cutting of the grape
and production of wine. The carnival is a large attraction every year, not only
because of the large number of participants (this year there is expected over
1500), but also because of its colorfulness and symbolism. The carnival will
be of great interest for visitors, as well as for the World Carnival Association,
for which this carnival belongs to their calendar of world famous carnival processions.
For the visitor, it is pointless to describe something which can only be experienced
as our special guest. On this occasion, we invite you to attend and enjoy the
richness of our festival like our special guest.
